My name is Meghan Sharp. I have worked in health care for 25 years as an EMT, a Respiratory Therapist and a Physician Assistant. Now I am back in school studying communications and ethics. I will, at long last, be finishing a B.S -Studies in Healthcare, Communications and Ethics though SUNY Empire State College this spring and hope to then go on to graduate work in ethics. Professionally, ultimately I hope to work in bioethics research and policy development.
This website is being developed and written as a Capstone project, an independent study in applied ethics focusing on bioethics. Throughout this semester I will be writing on a variety of topics including synthetic biology, nanotechnology, neuroscience, population growth, and genetic testing, developing a portfolio of my writing. I will also be compiling an annotated bibliography and resource lists for this website.
Thank you for visiting my website and I look forward to reading your feedback. The semester begins January 20th so I will be posting more in the weeks to come. As this is my personal site and part of a project for school, I reserve the right to moderate responses.
